What Optima Is

Optima is a free web tool operated by Adamas Advanced Designs that analyzes weekly lifting routines and visualizes muscle coverage on a 3D anatomical model. You paste your program, and the tool highlights which muscles are trained, under-trained, or missing — scored using a frequency-based motor unit recruitment model.

Not Professional Advice

Optima is not a substitute for medical, physiotherapy, or professional coaching advice. The gap analysis is an automated estimate based on a particular model of hypertrophy — it may not reflect your individual anatomy, injury history, or training context. Use the output as one input among many, not as a prescription.

No Warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the gap analysis results. Scoring thresholds are research-informed defaults, not clinically validated standards.

How Your Data Is Processed

When you submit a workout routine, the text (or uploaded image) is sent to Anthropic's API for structured extraction. Anthropic operates under a zero-data-retention policy for API calls — your workout data is not stored by Anthropic or by us. No data persists after your browser session ends. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable Use

You may use Optima for personal, non-commercial analysis of your training programs. You may not:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the service
  • Redistribute the analysis output commercially without permission
  • Submit content that is illegal or violates third-party rights

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adamas Advanced Designs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, any injury, loss, or damage resulting from reliance on the gap analysis output.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
